“The Scholar” No More

Today as I was updating the blog my very smart little girl was reading over my shoulder. She pointed out the fact that she DID NOT like the nickname “The Scholar”. When I asked her what she would rather be called, she emphatically stated “Smarty Pants” - humble aren’t we? So for the record, from now on, she will be referred to in that manner.

Wondering Where I’ve Been?

For those of you that are just sitting on pins & needles eagerly awaiting my latest blog post (all one of you - thanks honey!) here it is. Just in case you were wondering where I’ve been or what’s been happening in our little corner of the world, well, this is it. I’ve been knee deep in curriculum research. I’ve poured over websites, catalogs, friends recommendations and have finally settled on what I plan to use next year. You can go HERE to check out what we will be using for The Scholar, who will be in 1st grade. I still have a little more research to do to finalize what we’ll be using for The Little Man, who will be in K4. But I’m so happy with what I’ve chosen so far & can’t wait to get started!

It’s hard to believe, but our Little Man is turning four. It amazes me how quickly they seem to grow up. I may not love all the messes little boys can get into and all the havoc they wreak, but I thank God that amidst all my little girls He blessed me with this sweet, loving, rambunctious boy.
